A Blooming Welcome Along Wrose Road
Wrose Parish Council is pleased to announce that the barrier baskets and planters along Wrose Road and Highfield have now been freshly planted with a calming, elegant selection of summer plants – ready for everyone to enjoy over the coming months.
This year’s scheme for the barrier baskets features cool blues and soft greens, with some pops of baby pink, a gentle nod to one of the key colours celebrating Bradford’s City of Culture 2025.
But it’s not just about appearances. We’ve taken steps to make our planting more sustainable and future-friendly by adding a mix of perennials. These hardy, returning plants reduce waste and support local wildlife, particularly our bees and pollinators.
The displays are designed to brighten everyday journeys and offer a moment of calm in our busy lives. We hope they bring quiet joy to your walks when out and about in Wrose.
