WROSE SUMMER FESTIVAL PROMISES MUSIC AND FOOD FOR ALL THE FAMILY
Wrose Parish Council has announced a summer festival in partnership with The Bold Privateer pub and local district councillors.
The event will take place from 11am on Saturday 15th July and run all day on the grounds of The Bold Privateer pub.
A food and craft market will provide quality fresh and hot food and quality handmade items.
Music will be provided by Live at the Lounge, run by Bren Travis, who also delivered music at Saltaire Festival. The event will feature local bands and musicians young and old.
There will also be face painting and community stalls promoting local charities and organisations.
Cllr Alex Ross-Shaw, district councillor for Windhill & Wrose and Chair of Wrose Parish Council said, “We’re delighted to announce the first ever Wrose Summer Festival. It will be a great day for the whole family with music and food for everyone.”
Cllr Liz Rowe, said “We really want to support local businesses and organisations so we’d welcome people to get in touch if they want a stall.”
Bren Travis, from Live at the Lounge, said, “We’re putting on a day of great music with fabulous local musicians young and old. It’ll be a great day to come and hang out and enjoy some food and live music.”
