Best wishes to the residents of Wrose from Wrose Parish Council.
Wrose Parish Council recently provided an entertainment grant to Wrose Dementia Friendly Support Group, some of which was put to great use during the group’s festive Christmas party. Cllrs Kath Hirsh and Jayne Allen attended the event and saw firsthand how the funding was making a difference, bringing joy and fun to local residents living with dementia and their carers.
The party was a wonderful celebration of community spirit and what can be achieved when people support each other. The funding provided reflects Wrose Parish Council’s commitment to enhancing the well being of the community through meaningful partnerships. If you are a local not for profit organisation and could benefit from a community grant please review the parish council’s grant policy on this website to see if you would be eligible to apply.

The Wrose Christmas lights, funded by Wrose Parish Council, are up and shining bright. Hopefully they are bringing you some festive cheer.
Is your favorite happy Mr. Snowman or cheeky Mr. Penguin or perhaps another one has caught your eye?
Unfortunately the extreme weather conditions meant the Wrose outdoor Christmas Market planned for Saturday 7th Decmeber had to be cancelled but Christmas cheer was not completely lost. Santa and his elf still managed to make it to his grotto, which had been beautifully decorated by Wrose Parish Councilors.
A big thank you to everyone who helped keep the festive spirit alive despite the challenges. Santa was delighted to welcome families and spread joy to all who visited.
On Sunday morning, volunteers and members of Wrose Parish Council came together to put up the much loved Tommy remembrance signs. These silhouettes of soldiers are a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by service men and women, symbolizing the community’s respect and gratitude as we approach Remembrance Day.
Thank you to all who dedicated their time and effort to help keep the spirit of remembrance alive in Wrose.
A big thank you to all the Wrose Parish Council team who have been planting spring bulbs in the planters and barrier baskets along Wrose Road
Their efforts mean Wrose will be full of colour when spring arrives next year. We can’t wait to see the beautiful blooms brighten up our community!
Thank you to everyone involved for your hard work and community spirit! 💚
